2022 Reflections & Highlights

2022 was certainly a year filled with challenges, but it was also a year that saw moments of success, joy, and hope. We asked our team to tell us about the professional highlights of their year, and we’re happy to share some of those with you today!

The highlight of 2022 for me was successfully transitioning to ADP for a better payroll experience and employee self-service benefits enrollment. I know it’s not the most popular tool but I take our employee’s feedback seriously. It took three months to implement by myself, and I was sweating bullets when I processed payroll for the first time, but the outcome was worth it because the new system has improved reporting, employee accessibility, transparency and self-management.

A highlight for me was getting teamed up with an awesome partner like Amplitude, and helping drive towards their Diversity recruitment target as DEI is something I’m very passionate about!

Despite the difficult downturn in 2022, the fact that Flawless still grew 3x year-over-year is encouraging. We signed agreements with 50 new clients, which highlights our industry-leading embedded offerings.

In 2022, Flawless did a ton for me both personally and professionally. Professionally, Flawless has enabled me to partner with extremely exciting Tech organizations at Robinhood and Aurora Solar. On a Personal note, they supported our family during my son’s arrival this year, which I will always be grateful for.

Looking back over the past year I can only say that it has been a real roller coaster. The highlights are that the company was able to hire some of the top Talent Acquisition folks around the country by maintaining a remote-first policy. We grew over 100% in the first 7 months of the year and have expanded into new verticals and domains. We discovered a strong demand continues in the market for embedded people services with flexible contracts and strong management oversight.
